ROSARIES TO SAINT JOSEPH (2 AND 3)

The First Rosary to Saint Joseph


It is composed of nine mysteries, divided in three parts. Each one of the parts is composed by a decade (10) beads, making a total of 30 beads in honor of the 30 years that Saint Joseph passed in the company of Jesus and Mary. In each one of the beads a Hail Mary is prayed, and each decade ends with a Glory Be.


The Mysteries are the following:


Mysteries of the FIRST Decade:
1. The Incarnation
2. The perplexity of Saint Joseph (faced by Virgin Mary’s pregnancy).
3. The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
Say the three mysteries, 10 Hail Mary’s, and one Glory Be.


Mysteries of the SECOND Decade:
1.The Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple.
2. The Fleeing to Egypt.
3. The child Jesus found in the Temple.
Say the three mysteries, 10 Hail Mary’s, and one Glory Be.


Mysteries of the THIRD Decade:
1. The hidden life of Jesus in Nazareth.
2. The death of Saint Joseph.
Say the three mysteries, 10 Hail Mary’s, and one Glory Be.
At the end of the Rosary, pray three Act’s of Contrition, and ask Saint Joseph to obtain forgiveness and mercy.

 

 


The Second Rosary to Saint Joseph


It is divided in 15 groups of 4 beads each, of which one is white and the other three purple. The white beads symbolize Saint Joseph’s purity and the purple beads his holy piety. A mystery of the Rosary is considered in each one of the four white beads (a total of 15) and 2 Hail Mary’s are prayed. On the purple beads you pray: “Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!”


First Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Second Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Third Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Fourth Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!

Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Fifth Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Sixth Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


Seventh Mystery
White bead: Pray 2 Hail Mary’s.
First purple bead: Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Second purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
Third purple bead:Blessed and praised be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!


And so on until you complete the 15 mysteries.


At the end, finish the Rosary with the following prayer:
V/ Pray for us, O glorious Saint Joseph!
R/ So we may be worthy of receiving the promises of Christ!


Final Prayer
“O God, who predestined Saint Joseph since all eternity for the service of your eternal Son and of his Mother, and made him worthy of being the spouse of this blessed Virgin and adoptive father of your Son: we beg you that through all the services he tendered to Jesus and Mary on earth, that you make us worthy of his intercession, and grant us to enjoy the happiness of his company in Heaven. By Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
