“I am here, with John the Apostle who represents all of you, my Beloved Sons, at the feet of the Cross My Son Jesus has been living the bloody hours of his atrocious agony.

Each of themoans of his pain trespass, like a sword my sorrowful soul. Each drop of His suffering is collected in the open chalice of My Immaculate Heart.
I am here, looking for a little bit of love and compassion to offer Him to relieve the great thirst of Jesus who is agonizing.

I ask for a little love, but around us there is only inhuman wickedness, profound hate, shouts and blasphemies that come from the hearts and lips of those who assist to the execution.

"He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.” (Matthew 27:42)

But yes, precisely to go on this Cross, my Son has been born, grown up and lived: to turn into the meek lamb who is gently conducted to the slaughterhouse.

He is the true Lamb of God who takes away all the sins of the world.

I, with my presence as Mother, today, must help Him to remain in the Cross, so the Will of the Father is fulfilled and you can be redeemed and saved by Him.

Remain, O My Son, on the Cross: I am here to help you stretch over your gallows, to suffer, and to die.

Remain, O My Son, on the Cross: you can save us only by this way; only this way, you attract the whole world to you.

+ For this, you descended from the Father’s side to My virginal womb of Mother.

+ For this, during nine months, I have carried you in my womb and have given you flesh and blood, for your human birth.

+ For this, you have been born from Me in Bethlehem and have grown, like a man, through the rhythm of your human development.

+ For this, you have opened like a flower, during your infancy and have formed in the vigor of your adolescence.

+ For this, you have carried the weight of the daily work in the poor house of Nazareth; you have been assisted all the days by Me, your tender Mother, and with the precious help of your legal father, Joseph.

+ For this, three fatiguing years of your public life have passed while you announced the Gospel of Salvation, healing the sick, opening the doors of the Kingdom to the poor, to the little ones, to the humble, and to the oppressed.

+ For this, you have suffered the judgment and the condemnation of the religious tribunal, validated by Pilate who delivered you to the Cross.

Today, you are there, on the throne of your glory, which was prepared by the Heavenly Father for You, his Only Begotten Son, sweet and divine Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, the evil, the hate, the impurity and the death.

Precious and fruitful Cross, who carries in your arms the Savior of the world.
Sweet and healthy timber, in which the price of our ransom is suspended.
Blessed and sanctified Cross by the Paschal Victim, that today immolates itself over you in the only Sacrifice that saves and redeems all.

My Beloved sons, on this Good Friday, allow me to repeat also to you: Remain with Jesus on the Cross.
Don’t yield to the deceitful temptations of my adversary, to the difficult seductions of the world, and the voices of those that also today repeat: “Come down now from the Cross!”.

No! Also you, like Jesus, must understand the Divine Plan of your personal priestly offering.
Also you say Yes to the Will of the Father and open yourselves to the words of prayer and forgiveness.
Because today, also you as Jesus was, must be immolated for the salvation of the world.

March 24, 1989 Good Friday
